The NHS saved my life four times when I was a child with help from Sir Alexander Fleming, so I always have loved them, but today they made me laugh. I received two letters from them. One reminded me that I should attend an appointment next Monday. Fair enough, although a text would have been much cheaper and quicker. Especially as the second letter told me that the appointment had been cancelled.

Brilliant and now brave individuals; decrepit systems. They should head-hunt IT experts from bookmakers immediately…
